B-A Engineering, P.C. (BAE) is a certified MBE/DBE firm. We provide airport planning, transportation planning, traffic engineering, highway and roadway design services to public agencies and private companies. The type of projects range from small traffic and parking studies to major regional transportation plans including airport landside planning and design.

BAE has extensive experience in providing professional traffic engineering and transportation planning services to the NYCEDC/Mayor’s Office, NYCDOT, LMDC, MTA, NJ TRANSIT, NYSDOT and Port Authority. Our staff is very familiar with all the design standards and guidelines that the Engineering Department follows at most of the PA facilities. BAE has provided traffic engineering services for most of the PA facilities including JFK International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, Goethals Bridge, Outerbridge Crossing, George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel, Port Authority Bus Terminal, etc. under previous call-in agreements with PANYNJ.

BAE has designed several roadway contracts for these facilities including Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans, Construction Staging, Guide Sign Design, Contract Plans, Parking Studies, Parking lot Design, Capacity Analyses, Traffic Counts/Surveys, Simulation and Modeling. We have excellent knowledge of the Traffic Engineering requirements and design standards/guidelines. Our staff has extensive experience in several PANYNJ. NJDOT, NYSDOT and NYCDOT projects.

BAE is currently involved in the Hunters Point Waterfront Infrastructure and New Stapleton Infrastructure Projects in Queens and Staten Island, respectively. Responsibilities include MPT, construction staging, pavement marking design, sign design, guide rail design, signal design, conceptual roadway plans, crash analyses, parking lot design, and traffic analyses/capacity analyses.
